Reminds me of Summernats 20, on my way there, i pass a Urvan stopped on the sid eof the road with a Cressida on the back of it...

i pull over to see if they need a hand, and its Jay,

i was thinking, Nissan Urvan, towing a close to 2t car... this going to be a loooong trip...

they were just out of murray bridge and it was very early on fri morning...

any how.. i pulled over for a nap about 3 hours after, and i said to them as i was leaving beep if you see me on the side of the road, as i dont want to sleep tooo much...

what i didnt realise was that Urvan had a RB30 in it, and was towing that car at the limits with ease (albiet with a huuuuge consumption)

about 6 months later, i see that same van, Jay pulls up along side me, and gives it a rev....

the smile on his face is priceless...

the RB30 revs up... and as the revs drop...

flutter....

dam that thing was quick!

M

Joe, you know you wanna do it...

ahhh the gravatron van

havent seen that thing for a while

my spine shudders every time I hear an RB30 flutter

Already looked into bringing something like that into Australia. Unfortunately most of the craziest vans are too high and have too much overhand to be shipped over here :( The big wings cause height issues, and the extended bumpers stop them getting onto the boats :(

u serious? thats farked, cant u just take rearbar + wings off to fit in the container/s? just some paint n $200 worth of bodywork when they here.. no issues driving it in syd :D

Kits and other "additions" are generally moulded into the original body work.

well this story has nothing to do with AIR but has plenty to do with a tractor tyre, a chain, and my spine landing on the most painful part of the rear cabin section of that van

i couldnt work out whether to laugh to cry because it was so damn funny what we did or because it hurt so damn much being flung around the rear section of that van into the cargo barrier mount

Without 1J, Aussie may have been in a spot of bother too. I couldn't stop laughing, and Matt couldn't stop rolling around holding his back in agony. It was funny once the pain subsided for Matt (was funny the whole time for me haha).
