im going threw the conversion shortly just picked up a S15 dash for $250

ive seen it done b4 and it fits neat the only part that doesnt look neat is where the dash meets the door trim but because im not going to have door trims im not worried about it

im gonna have my S15 dash fitted in my 180 with a haltech MXL dash and my door trims will be replaced with a sheet of carbon fiber

it does fit pretty neat as u can see

most poeple use the S13 cluster because the S15 cluster wont work with the speedo

The S15 does not have a speed sensor like the S13 or S14. It has an ABS sensor in the rear differential that sends an electrical signal to the ABS control unit, which converts the signal before it goes to the gauge cluster. Coincidentally the S15 6 speed tranny has a slot where an S13/S14 speed sensor will bolt in, however there is no gear in the hole to turn the speed sensor.
