  1. Hey Guys, just made some tweaks to the code to only display hardtuned adverts and filter out more commodore/boost stuff. Please let me know if it's not working properly! regards, loz
  2. Hey Guys, we're clearing out our warehouse of brake pads at the moment so are discounting all pads - As most people who have tried Project Mu will know, they are the best pad you can buy on the market, and very rarely go on sale. For street cars would recommend Type NS or B-Spec,.... if you like your occasional track day, then HC+ is the way to go. we have around 30 sets left for silvias in various compounds. jump on the site http://www.project-mu.com.au to order.. (discounts are applied as you choose the pads). We will be running the sale till christmas, but will probably be sold out of clearance stock before then so get on the site asap if you want some!
  3. we are contemplating it for the parts possibly, but are first looking into cleaning up what we have for now.
  4. Steve, really? it's easy to pass judgement like this from the comfort of your safe living room in Australia but looting that occurs during times of crisis like this would happen anywhere in the world. It doesn't mean that the majority of people that have been effected don't need aid.
  5. yep will be working on it for the next couple days and will hopefully address these issues. we're looking at really simplifying the "add item" setup as well
  6. I have had no problems with claims with Just Car. All my cars are insured with them
  7. The New Silvia

Only a few days left till the big announcement, but the rumor mill is already kicking -Nissan will be bringing a new Zed and a new SILVIA to the Tokyo Motor Show this month. Also it turns out Daimler Chrysler is getting in with Nissan and will produce a new chassis for the Skyline. Exciting Stuff
  8. The New Silvia

My money is on the idea that it will have a spruced up / larger capacity version of the 1.6T out of the new SSS Pulsar. I am also guessing a different chassis. They are showing off 2 cars at Tokyo Motor Show in 2 weeks : A smaller Z, and another car "to compete with BRZ/FRS"
  9. The New Silvia

http://www.newsilvia.com http://www.silviawhatif.com http://www.silvias16.com (all the same site) this is the new site we are building. (it's still a bit off launch, we are collating content at the moment) have already got some key people on board, just chasing up a few nissan insiders to help as well. If you feel you have something to bring to the team - email me loz@nissansilvia.com Looking for article writers and people to do some research, you don't have to be pro - just keen to help! Also: expect nissansilvia.com to get a reskin & heavy rework in the next week as well to match up with this smaller site.
  10. Hey Guys, Just spent the last week sketching this new tee - now it's available for pre-order $27 + postage for the next 2 weeks. http://www.hardtunedstore.com/
  11. Hey Guys, if you didn't see the email, we are discounting everything is the store to make way for our new summer range of clothes! use the coupon code 20twenty when checking out to get the discount! http://www.hardtunedstore.com
  12. 7 Days To Die

^^ agreed.. i hate minecraft, love zombie games though.... that said, the apocolypse-zombe genre has already been done so well with DayZ, Last of Us, Dead Island, State of Decay... game would have to really bring something special to make it worth it... and that minecraft feel & mid 90's character animation doesn't really do it for me... For good Indy : Check out State of Decay on xbox live.... it's a bit short, but pretty much has a perfect walking dead feel to it (Shame they didn't have a big budget, three is a lot of potential with this one) This is probably the kickstarter im looking forward to most: http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/5livesstudios/satellite-reign
  13. i will have some discussions with the other parties involved in the management of the site and see where we can head from here. Also: If there are any programmers / database people with PHP/MYSQL experience out there that would like to give us a hand with stuff that would be greatly appreciated!
  14. ?? not sure if serious ?? If people are really keen to have an active part in the development of the site, then please put up your hands to help out. the KEY things we are looking for are people to handle event coverage and run events in different areas... ...3 years ago we never had to ask, because people just wanted to do it for the community- but now with facebook everyone can have their own little silvia groups and there isn't that strong central silvia community feel anymore... ...if anyone wants to pick up the rains and be proactive, help us develop the site and steer it in the right direct instead of jumping on "loz fix it" bandwagon i would love the help! (this is a community, it's not just my site that you guys come to.... the new classifieds supports and pays for the hosting of this place, so unless someone has 2 decent managed webservers to donate inc. bandwidth, unfortuantely that cannot change - though obviously we are always trying to better and improve it! )
  15. State of Decay

Just started playing it on the weekend... and it's pretty addictive! ...pretty much what "the walking dead" series game should have been.. a bit basic in areas, but the whole idea of "real" (accountants/students/lawyers/cops/teachers) people, fortifying a suburban house, scavenging supplies from the quickee mart etc... all makes it a very immersive experience. Really like the realistic health / permanent death / no re-spawning idea... makes each character in your team so much more valuable, makes even collecting food from the store a risk. would be good if there was more group interaction though.... (being able to select a team to head out with you) i think they have patched it a fair bit since launch, because the only bugs i could see were clipping issues with the zombies.
  16. E46 m3

really trying to love those wheels... but.... the e46 m3 is such a great classy car , i think the "look at me" wheels really need the car to be slammed and stanced (which ruins the point of having an m3) .. personally i would be painting them gloss black, dish and all.
  17. Price : $350 Condition : Used Oem s14 front bar with lower lip in plastic pickup only from croydon park sa
  18. Hey Guys, ok this is it.... i'm finally coming down to Adelaide to catch up and say hi, a meet a few new people! So expect to be finished around 12 with a few good stops along the way, no doubt it will be a great night... Meet is Saturday night : 15th June 2013 7PM @ BUNNING MILE END. see you there people! *********************** CRUISE GUIDELINES / EXPECTATIONS Hardtuned does NOT tolerate hooning or dumb behaviour, Don't be a Today Tonight Stereotype. act like a clown at one of our events (at any point of the night) and expect to get a knock on your door the next week. This means: Excessive revving, burnouts, skids, racing, dangerous driving, 'skids to leave', offensive / idiot behavior, or anything else... Help us keep the car scene fun, safe and social!
  19. Hey Guys, Just got a new sponsor of the website on board (Kitten Polishes & Car Care) Over the next few months, they will be releasing new mini car feature videos based around different cars. In the debut episode of Show and Shine TV, meet hosts Mel Lockman and former HSV Racing and Formula 1 technician Anthony ‘Freddie’ Frederiksen as they hit the road in some of the hottest performance vehicles and supercars. Freddie road tests the race-bred Renault Sport Megane 250 and brings an elite Australian muscle car, the HSV GTS E3 to an iconic Australian raceway. If you live and breathe cars, the action is all here at Show and Shine TV. http://www.showandshinetv.com.au/ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JKXd6pAq3KI Also: they will be giving away prize packs and what not if you want to share your car videos with them: http://www.showandsh....au/?page_id=14
  20. ok, cruise route done *thanks shane* ....now back to workin on these mobile classifieds
  21. Also: if everyone can help us do a bit of promotino and "invite" their "friends" to event that would be great! http://www.facebook.com/events/115669585286000/?notif_t=plan_edited
  22. looking forward to it! Going to trial something REALLY cool for the "map" ... make sure you bring your smartphone! the route planned is fair decent as well, great blend of locations, bring a whole tank, especially if on e85!
  23. Big fan of this car and have been tracking it's development: 3.8-litre twin-turbo V8 + KERS 727 bhp + 176 bhp (900hp+ !!) 900Nm Yes Please.... As with the McLaren F1 road car of 1992, the McLaren P1 is a rear-wheel drive, mid-engine design that uses a carbon fibre monocoque and roof structure safety cage concept called MonoCage, which is a development of the MonoCell used in the current MP4-12C and MP4-12C Spider upgrade that came out in early 2012. The P1 features a heavily revised version of the 3.8-litre twin-turbo V8 petrol engine used in the MP4-12C, tuned to 727 bhp. The engine is combined with a highly effective KERS electric motor that produces 176 bhp. The hybrid powertrain is connected to a 7 speed dual-clutch transmission, and will give a total power output of 916PS (903 bhp) at 7500 rpm and a maximum torque figure of 900Nm (664 lb ft). The powertrain can run using either the petrol V8 by itself or with the electric motor. The electric motor can be used to power the car on its own, with an all-electric range up 20 km (12 mi) at an average speed of 50 km/h (31 mph). Power for the electric motor is stored in a high density battery pack located behind the cabin. The battery can be charged by the engine or through plug in-equipment, and can fully charge in two hours. The P1 comes with two Formula 1 derived features: The Instant Power Assist System (IPAS) will give an instant boost in horsepower to the petrol engine via the electric motor. The car also comes with a Drag Reduction System (DRS), which operates the car's rear wing. Both of these features are operated by two buttons on the steering wheel. It is capable of 385 km/h (239 mph), but is electronically limited to 349 km/h (217 mph). This gives the P1 a top speed 5 mph, or 8 kmph higher than the previously record setting McLaren F1. The P1 will go from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in approximately 2.7 seconds, 0 to 200 km/h, or 124 mph in under 7 seconds, and 0 to 300 kmph (186 mph) will be achieved in no more than 17 seconds, making it 5 seconds faster than the legendary McLaren F1. It does this with its set of Pirelli P-Zero Corsa tyres and can brake quickly with specially developed carbon-ceramic brakes from Akebono.
