phee 13 Posted November 13, 2007 300rwkw is a LOT for a car like that. Why did you choose 300? Just a nice round figure or bragging rights? No offence, I love the car and if I was to get a 180 type X it would definatley be exactly like yours, but I only say all this cause I had a Skyline (33) that had just under 300rwkw and it became very hard to control especialy in wet conditions (practically impossible), not to mention the maintenance. I spent $25k reparing the stupid thing because of the mods on it to maintain that power and in the end I just gave up. Don't want to see someone else go down the same path and stuff up a very clean and respectable looking car. Unless you're talking about 300fwkw? You might already know all this and be a lot more mechanically minded than me, but don't rush into these things with cheap parts, having drivability and reliabilty is a MUST The more you remove it from stock the more you're going to have problems with it / spend money maintaining it. Best of luck with everything! It really is a nice car.

Best of luck with everything! It really is a nice car. im sparing no expence on the car hence why i am just getin essentials first and then the whole build is going in at once and 300"REAR" wheel KW was a rough figure when it comes time for rebuild i want to put a forgie in it soo by then it will probs be over that mark interior will also get a fix up aswell with bride interior all round but that will be last i appreciate concern but iv been wanting to do this forever and i will reach what im after just a matter of time you know. my goal is for this thing to have heaps of power without getting attention *sleeper styles*
phee 13 Posted November 13, 2007 Oh I didn't post to put you off rebuilding your car, just to make sure you knew what you were after. You sound like me when I was making my plans, performance first, styling second; and it's a good way to go. With your basics make sure they are good enough to get the power out of them that you want, so you're not buying things twice, and don't forget to do the brakes, suspension and drive line I'm sure you know all this... I'll just shut up now

stan_ 3 Posted November 14, 2007 exterior looks perfect as is.! 300rkw is a fair bit of $$ aye... but its too to achieve what you want. goodluck~
