R4Race 2 Posted January 31, 2010 (edited) Hi everyone, been a long time member here but never got around to do one of these member ride thing. Anyway has had the car for roughly 7-8 yrs now, so long that I don't even remmeber when I brought it. Had done alot of crazy shit in it anything from top speed run to mountain run(my ex favourite pass time) etc. However since settling down with my wife and baby boy, I decided to behave myself and settle down. I was at a stage where I was undecided to what to do with the car, either selling it and get another more family oriented or to keep it and slowly turn it into a track car. The car sitting around for 1.5 yrs before I decided to keep it and start modding it to the way I want it to be. At the present time, it's in the body shop getting some work done to the body. Nothing over the top like some member on here, but should be unique enough to stand out among the crowd. The reason why I want to do this part of mod first is because, I want to change the look of the car. It had been the same for the last 7-8yrs so I thought the car deserve a mid life make over . Anyway enough rambling here are some of the stats. I will add the photos once I get the hang of this, so bear with me. shortshifta 0 Posted January 31, 2010 Front wheels are a bit mexican but will look better when you have the other guards on. Your rear guards are going to be pretty big, gunna run spacers?? As the rears will sit in a fair bit.

R4Race 2 Posted February 1, 2010 i wish i had that sort of coin to through around but to be honest it just looks like one big advert hahahaha i guess it hasnt started to take shape yet so we will see. Don't know what you mean by that, but I will take that as a compliment. just curious who is the maker of the carbon diffuser? First molding. i love it, just looking at the car you can tell you look after it but still push it and have fun! i like that. wing is sick keep it, rear difuser looks like it will be pretty close to the zorst though. will keep an eye one this. -dan Thanx for the comment, yes I has had the car for a long time, and I'm one of the lucky few that get to throughly enjoy every aspect of the car. I usually drive the car around for a while after each mod to see how it actually change the car, it only now that I really going full out on it. The look of the car is not everyone cup of tea, but I try to do it in a way that will be unique plus as aero dynamic as possible. finally made a rides thread ay love your car man.. will be good to see when its all fitted hope everything turns out the way you wanted it too Hi dan, yeah the guys been asking me to do one of these for a long time. You can say I gave in to peer pressure.

The feeling after so long of thinking what to do and then finally being able to start must be very nice. Hope it all goes well and stay true to what you had envisaged. pep 4 Posted February 2, 2010 I love the splitters and aggressive look. Something different especially in aus anyway. If some of the agressive kits were readily available in aus id jump on it but the standard 'drift' look is everywhere pretty much.
